The pilgrim Passport, is a passport that the pilgrims get stamped along the Camino, so when they reach Santiago de Compostela, they get the “Compostela” which is the certificate that declares that a person has walked over 100 Kms to Santiago.

Many people start the Camino in Sarria, because is located 111Km away from Santiago, and so they will be able to get the certificate.

If when you arrive in Sarria you still don’t have your passport, there are 2 places where you can get it:

– The church of Santa Mariña, Rua de Maior, Sarria (Schedules: from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Except mondays they are only open from 7 to 8 p.m.)

– The monastery of the Magdalena, Avenida de la Merced, 60 (From 10 am to 1 pm, and from 4 pm to 7 pm )
