Myra Merkal is a true pilgrim that is currently walking the last stage of the Camino Frances, the Approach to Santiago. It is exciting to follow her every step from Pamplona to Finisterre. It wasn’t too long ago that we planned and customized her first trip to Santiago from Sarria with her sister and two other friends. Now Myra is a simple woman, a true Peregrina with a noble cause, walking the Camino to raise funds for an All Abilities Park for everyone in her community to enjoy.
Myra: “The walk out of Sarria is magical to say the least. Beautiful, peaceful, tree lined paths,creeks trickling,cows mooing, birds chirping. Imagine coming across a bagpiper on the trail? Pic of the 5 of us at the marker showing we have 99 kms left to go.”
We will follow her every step until she arrives Santiago de Compostela, until she hears the Bells of Santiago.
