According to the Spanish Newspaper La voz de Galicia, the Codex Calixtinus that desapeared 1 year ago from the Cathedral of Santiago, has been found in a garage in the village of Milladoiro (A Coruna). The 12th-Century religious manuscript is the first guide for those following the ancient pilgrimage route to Santiago.

Only a few people had access to the book, while a replica is on display in a glass case at the cathedral for the public.

The book was stolen by the electrician of the cathedral that knew exactly how the security systems worked.

First guide for pilgrims to the Camino de Santiago.
