If you are walking the French Way from Roncesvalles to Logroño and if you like the Vino Tinto (red wine) you should visit the village of Irache, Navarra. There is a Wine Fountain where pilgrims can serve themselves a free glass of wine to spur them on their way.
The Irache Monastery has a fountain that quenches your thirst and brights up the way. The Pilgrims drink from a water pipe and wine pipe. Open every day from 8 am to 8 pm.
