Pilgrims will have a great Camino start at Pamplona, the capital of Navarra.

The city combines tradition and modernity. According to the OCU (Organization of consumers and users), it is the city with the best quality of life in Spain. It has around 200,000 inhabitants. Throughout the year tranquility region over its streets, but during the week between the 7 and 14 of July, the city becomes the party capital of the world, San Fermin Festival.

Pilgrim needs

Your first stop in Pamplona should be the  Archbishopric of Pamplona, at Santa Maria la Real square. You can pick up your pilgrim passport and some maps at the pilgrim office that it is open from 8 am to 8 pm.

Also, don’t miss the Pilgrim store “Buen Peregrino” at Calle Mayor 9. You will fine everything you need for the Camino de Santiago. But  remember, we don’t need anything to walk. Packing light.
