This Camino starts in Salamanca, and takes 570 kms until achieve Santiago de Compostela.
This path goes along Spain and Portugal and pilgrims will cross the Cañada Real of Extremadura, roman roads and will connect with the Portuguese way at the small town of Braga.
You will meet cities like Salamanca, Ciudad Rodrigo, Almeida, Pinhel, Trancoso, Sernancelhe, Lamego, Amarante, Guimarães, Braga, Ponte de Lima, Tui, Redondela, Pontevedra y Santiago de Compostela. 3 of these cities are World Heritage Cities and all of them worth a leisurely visit.
