Arriving into the town of O Cebreiro is challenging
You walking day starts in Villafranca del Bierzo, 600 mm altitude and you will finish your walk at the top of the mountain, 1300 mm altitude. At the top the views are spectacular. The town has exceptional surroundings.
Don’t miss the obligatory pictures and passing in front of a stone cross, the itinerary approaches the enclave from the back of the church Santa María Real do Cebreiro.

- Pilgrims who wish to attend mass in the church may do so, in winter, at 18.00, and in summer, at 19.00. They officiate on Sunday mornings and in the evening, at 12.00 and 18.00 or 19.00, depending on the season (see the schedule on the Facebook page of the temple).
One of the most emblematic villages of the Way is O Cebreiro, its sanctuary and for its unique beauty.
