The following feedback is from a family and friends group that returned from the Camino just over a week ago.  It was a private tour with guide for the last stage from Sarria to Santiago. The accommodations were a mixture of hotels and rustic lodges.

Peregrinos_en_Camino_de_SantiagoThe members were from Singapore, the UK and Australia. They first contacted us in the Spring of 2013 for this arrangements.  We are very glad that the timing was perfect as they were able to witness the swinging of the Botafumeiro at the Cathedral.  They felt fulfilled.

Dear Creative Travel: I had a wonderful Camino walk – we were blessed with good weather for the first four days, and although it rained during the last two days, the rain stopped when we reached Santiago de Compostela. The Galician scenery was very pleasant and green. The locals we encountered in the villages were very welcoming and hospitable. The pilgrims we met along the way were inspiring. Our guide, Jenny, did a good job of making our journey and the Camino experience as smooth as possible. We especially liked the rustic accommodation and the food at A Parada das Bestas Inn. We were fortunate to witness the swinging of the Botafumeiro at Santiago cathedral when we attended mass on Pentecost Sunday. I also enjoyed listening to the many buskers playing in the lovely squares of the city.

Thanks very much for all your fine efforts in making this journey a reality for us. C.L./ June 2014
